Mr. Chen, Sailmaker is one of the few songs that makes me get emotional and cry for absolutely no reason. I always get shivers during the little interview bit in the middle and by the end I’m just staring at my screen, crying but in this blissful state where nothing’s wrong.

& to those of you who think Adam’s music is getting too “mainstream” and “pop” sounding based on the Shooting Star preview, you’re totally wrong. He has said multiple times that this album is going to be different and has a lot more trance & dance inspired songs than any of those before it. If you’ve listened to any other trance artists, you would know that Shooting Star doesn’t sound mainstream at all.

I’m really excited for this album and I’m really surprised so many of you guys are complaining. Obviously Adam is going to continue to change and grow as a musician as time progresses, so I don’t understand why the majority of his fans are disappointed.

It would be boring if all of his albums sounded the same, you know?

Not gonna lie, I hope that Adam doesn’t have another super successful song like Fireflies or Vanilla Twilight, because I really like having a somewhat small fanbase and it’s fun to think we have him all to ourselves, you know? Not many people know how great Owl City is.
